Since we have been in the house, I have been looking for some fun toddler-friendly outdoor play equipment for Ian. I've done a ton of looking on Craigslist, but everything I found was either more than I wanted to pay or too far away to be worth the good price. I had even gone to our community garage sale earlier this month with no luck.
So when Ian woke up at 7:20 this morning (lately he's been sleeping until 8am!), I decided to look at it as a good thing and go garage saling with him at another nearby community garage sale. We hit pay dirt!! I was soooo excited about all these great finds.
This was actually the second climber we found. We talked the guy down from $30 to $20 for this one (there's a fun little climbing wall on the back and a basketball hoop on the yellow side). Ian was having so much fun sliding down it at the garage sale that I think the guy was just being really nice to him in giving us a good deal.

This was the last one I found. I asked the lady how much and was a tad surprised when she said $8!! Amazing price for the hours of fun it is sure to bring.

He still likes to hold onto our hands when sliding down.

But he can climb back up the slide by himself!

Now, this baby - the Kangaroo Climber - was our first and perhaps most exciting deal. It's in fantastic condition and the lady only wanted $15. I might have been able to talk her down, but these run $40-60 on Craigslist! I wasn't about to argue with such a great price. And it's in such good condition that we can keep it inside as a rainy day back-up.

Ian loves the the little door in the back! Now he has something super fun to do while Mommy cooks dinner.

Well, little buddy, you are blessed! We've been praying for play equipment for you. Good thing you woke up early this morning! We're looking forward to all the fun hours of play time here at home!
OH MY GOSH!!! you got soooo many great deals!! i so wish i had gone with you... :(
