You have just one day left until your surgery! We can hardly believe it. We are glad the doctors found out what is making your neck hurt and that they can fix it. Even though you are one brave six year old, it's hard not to think of you as just a little cub sometimes.
But you are really a fast, quick, cool kid.
I wish we could be there at the hospital when you go in for surgery. But since we can't, we've written a few tips for you:Just remember - you might go in for surgery with cool looking hair...
...but nobody cares if you have a bad hair day while you are at the hospital.
You can even get away with making really silly faces! In fact, you will probably make all the doctors and nurses laugh.
If you need anything, just roll over and look really cute. That should score you a bunch of ice cream and popsicles!
If that doesn't work, just yell at the top of your lungs. I bet someone will come running!
You are a lucky kid to have so many people supporting you. You have a great sister to hang out with when you get out of the hospital.
And a Mommy who loves you so much. You'll always be her baby. She's told me so a hundred times. :-)
And a really awesome Dad. He'll do everything he can to make sure they take good care of you and treat you right. Plus I'm sure he will play some fun games on you and help you play tricks on the nurses.
