Ian and I got to go visit some good friends of ours this past weekend. They have done an incredible job decorating their home! They have gone with a safari theme and stepping into the house felt like stepping into a getaway lodge!
The dining room and beautiful new table!

Going out to eat at the Outback. Poor little Ian barely reaches the table! We are loving our new placemats though. They are portable and just stick in place on any table.

Ian took over the bathtub!

Ian in his safari.

We went on a little walk at a beautiful park!! There were long walking trails, a pond, swings, the works.

John Mark was nice enough to run Ian around like a football (normally Daddy's job).

Ian loved it!

Touchdown!

Pretty waterfall along the trails.

Cute little boy we found by the waterfall. ;-)

Baby ducks!

More baby ducks.
Close-up.

Eli, our friends' Savannah, loves water. He couldn't resist investigating during bath time.

If it hadn't of been for the baby in the tub, Eli would have jumped right in!

The reading room - Ian's home away from home. Wouldn't this make a cute nursery?

We stopped by
The Pancake House - they have an incredible apple pancake that EVERYONE should have the pleasure of eating sometime in their lifetime! Unfortunately, the lines were super looooooooong. What else could we expect on a Sunday morning?

So we ended up at Cheddar's instead. Great food, great atmosphere, no line!

We had such a great time! Thanks Lissa and John Mark for being such great hosts!
Hiya Wooshga! I'm doing better today...thanks! I believe it is an F2, but don't quote me on that. I had no idea that such cats existed until they got one. Whatever kind it is, it is legal here in Texas (go Texas!). Hope all is going well for you!
ReplyDeleteMy place is the "Safari" look as well...the carpets look like a herd of Elephants have been soiling them for a while. Hope you get to feeling better soon, neighbor.
ReplyDeleteIs that an F1, F2, F3, F4 or F5 Savahannah cat. I did a little reading up on them (Beware it's a loaded question) !!!
