Since we had to wait until 8:00am for all the stores to open up before we left, it was close to 10:30am by the time we went to the bank, Kohls, Target, and got our oil changed. Ian did really well, but conked out as soon as we headed home.
I couldn't resist a close up of his little open mouth while he was snoozing!

Busy Day!
We had a super busy day today. Ian woke up for the second day in a row before 6:30am. Ugg...that makes for one tired Mommy! So, today instead of lounging around, I decided to suck it up and get some stuff done. We got dressed to go on errands and I couldn't resist taking a picture of my little baseball player. Ian's head is supposed to be the head on the baseball player that is on the shirt he is wearing.
We went right down for nap time when we got home and had a great nap! Afterwards, Ian chilled out in his Pack N Play while Mommy took a quick shower.
He's actually in the middle of climbing up here, but it looks like he is peering out the side.
After that, we changed clothes to go run errands with Daddy. One of his errands was going to a local high school to drop off a resume and PowerPoint presentation that he made highlighting his teaching experience and background. It was a bit of a drive and we were happy to go with him to spend some family time together. (Hey, we take it where we can get it!)
Daddy wasn't inside very long, but Ian still wanted to get out and explore. Now that Ian is walking, we are working on wearing shoes when we are out and about. This was the first time he had worn his flip-flops to really walk anywhere.
Flip-flopping along! He did really good keeping them on (in the past, he kept trying to pull them off).
Back home, he kept giving Mommy big cheesy grins while she was cooking dinner!
Hehe...he was cracking me up! At one point, I turned around to see him walking towards me with both hands all the way up in the air! I think he may have been imitating The Wiggles. I didn't get him with his hands up the first time I tried to take a picture.
But the 9th or 10th time was the charm! Daddy got this great picture of Ian with his hands up. Of course, we avoided taking pictures of ourselves looking super goofy waving our hands in the air too!
After dinner, Ian and I headed to Cool Cuts 4 Kids to get his second haircut. Daddy was super tired and stayed home to rest (he had only gotten six hours of sleep in the last 48 hours!). It is so nice to have a place to go that has so many distractions for Ian while he is getting his hair cut.
