Home Sweet Home

Friday morning started e-a-r-l-y for us. It was time to go home (we couldn't believe the week was over already!) and we had an early flight out.

At 3am, all our sweet little boys wanted to do was snuggle with Liz. And I couldn't blame them...I would have loved to crawl back in bed myself!

Ian getting in some last minute cuddles with Auntie Liz.

Our shuttle driver ended up being 45 minutes late because his alarm didn't go off, so we got to the airport with just enough time to get through security, grab some quick breakfast, and board the plane. So Mr. Ian ended up flying from Denver to Oklahoma City in his jammies. I don't think it bothered him though!

Up, up, and away!

The flight there was soooooo nice! It wasn't full, so Ian had his own seat and was able to snuggle up in his car seat and take a good nap.

After landing in OKC, we were informed the next flight was full, so we had to check his car seat. After a quick change of clothes, Ian was ready to fly to Dallas and see Daddy!

We ended up beating Daddy to the airport by about 45 minutes (he had GPS trouble) and neither of us were too excited about the wait, but Daddy made it all worth it when we got home. He had a beautiful surprise boquet of flowers waiting for us!

We also went out to Chipotle for dinner (yay for not having to cook!) and to Tutti Frutti for frozen yogurt.

Afterwards, we headed to the park for a little fun before bed.

Daddy was so nice and lifted Ian up so he could see his reflection in the pond.

What a cute little walker!

Ian loves to walk forwards while looking backwards. It cracks us up!

Ian had a blast swinging with Daddy's help!

Big smiles!

Awww...so sweet!

Fun times climbing.

Ooohh - do you think we can handle this slide?

Whee! Sure we can!

Ian loved walking along the short wall.

Awww...having so much fun hanging out with Daddy! We sure missed him while we were gone!

Daddy, thank you for such a wonderful welcome home day with you! We loved getting to hang out with you!
