Cars, Trucks, & Planes, Oh My!

This last month, something has really clicked with our little boy. Instead of just chewing on all of his trucks and cars, he has started driving them around all over the place. Just yesterday, he was driving one of his little cars up and down the dishwasher. I didn't get the camera quickly enough, but I did capture him stacking his little car on his big car's steering wheel.

After a bit, we went outside. And in a pinch, his lawn mower will substitute for a vehicle! He drove it all over the back yard for a good while.

Back inside, he drove his little dump truck up and down the cardboard box to his light n sound table...

and one of his wooden trucks from Aunt Lissie down his slide. (Notice the other truck standing by just in case!)

A boy can never have too many trucks!

Tonight, he was busy driving his airplane all over his room.

His airplane did fast wheelies on two wheels!

And went very slowly back and forth.

It drove under the rocking chair (the camera wasn't fast enough to catch it!).

And even flew on top of the rocking chair for a quick ride.

Ian's Veggie Tales pirate boat is equipped with wheels underneath, so it went for a spin as well.

I'm looking forward to the day that Ian can drive himself and run errands for us, but for now, I am perfectly happy that my little driver is within eyesight at all times!
