Wednesday morning started bright and early for us as well. If I remember correctly, Ian woke up at 6 ready to play with his cousins!
Cousin Allie and Auntie Lizzie took care of breakfast.

While we were eating breakfast, we saw a deer having its breakfast in Grandma Cookie's front yard! That is so amazing to us...it's a sight they get to see very often though.

After breakfast, Allie entertained Ian with a great game of peek-a-boo! He sure loves his Cousin Allie and all the creative ways she comes up with to entertain him!
We had afternoon plans with Grandma Billie, but the morning was still young, so we decided to go to Ross. At one point, I called over the clothes rack for Liz to look at a shirt that I thought she would like.

Turns out she had picked up the same shirt for me in my size! Great minds think alike for sure!

Poor little Ian! He was so tired that he slept most of the way through the store. Haha - he was probably happy to miss out on the shopping trip though.

On the way back to Grandma Cookie's house, he started playing peek-a-boo with me! This was the first time he had ever played peek-a-boo with his hands! Normally he uses a blanket to play this game!

Later that afternoon, Grandma Billie took us for an early dinner to Olive Garden. Uncle Kenny was nice enough to carry Ian for me.

The gang at Olive Garden! We go almost every time we visit and have such good memories from this place! Starting with Ian and going to his right: Ian, Uncle Kenny, Grandma Billie, Auntie Lizzie, Aiden, Uncle Russell, Aunt Carol, Allie, and Sarah.

Ian thought Olive Garden's forks were so yummy! He had four of them!

Olives!!!!!!!! (Of course, we had to ask for extras!)

At one point, Uncle Kenny was playing with the settings on my camera and caught me answering Uncle Russell's question on how to sign "very hungry".

Lol...Raspberry, Allie's favorite bear, snuck in for a quick bite too.

After dinner, Grandma Billie took us all up the mountain to
The Carousel of Happiness.

The Carousel has a very interesting history and proved to be a lot of fun for everyone. All of the animals were hand carved and we had fun picking out our favorite ones to ride.

Grandma Billie getting situated on Mr. Panda.

Mr. Panda proved to be a safe and reliable driver!

The elephant's basket looked like a fun place for Ian to ride.

He thought so too for about a second. Then he wanted down!

We ended up riding in the dragon boat instead.

Ian wasn't too sure about it once we got going. He stayed close to Momma!

A picture of how the carousel used to look before it was restored.

Big difference now! The rafters even had critters hanging from them!

And up at the very top was the Twirling Girl. She conducts the music for each ride.

Aiden, Allie, Grandma Billie, and Uncle Russell in the middle of a ride.

Aiden checking out Allie's sheep.

An old Wurlitzer stood nearby.

More animals!

Next to the old Wurlitzter was a cash register from 1905. It still works without electricity!

Uncle Russell signing the guest book.

He couldn't resist kissing the seal! (The fact that I bribed him with a Coke had absolutely nothing to do with it, I promise!)

Ian signed the guest book too.

When we stepped outside, we saw some beautiful clouds forming. (The picture really doesn't show it well.)

Uncle Kenny wasn't too big on carousel rides, so he went and browsed the local grocery store while we were riding around. He came back with these GIGANTIC marshmallows! None of us had ever seen marshmallows that big before!

Of course, giant marshmallows called for a giant s'more cook-out! Yum!

Toasting marshies!

They were finger smacking good!

Yum, yum, and more yum!

Our beautiful model posing with all the s'more makings. One giant marshmallow required two whole graham crackers and a large piece of chocolate!

Auntie Liz joined the fun!

Can it get any better than this??

What a great idea, Uncle Kenny! We all had fun standing around making s'mores!

Ian was more than happy to join in the fun and give those giant s'mores a try!

Sharing with Mommy!

Hehe...the picture was blurry, but I couldn't resist. Ian was giving Auntie Lizzie chocolatey kisses!

Uncle Russell and Uncle Kenny cracked everyone up with a game of Chubby Bunny! (For those that don't know, Chubby Bunny is a game where each contestant stuffs as many marshmallows as they can in their mouth while still being able to say "chubby bunny". The person who gets the most marshmallows in and says "chubby bunny" wins.) Let's just say these giant marshmallows kept Mr. Chubby Bunny at bay!
After all the fun, we went inside to wash the stickies off. Look at that messy face!

What a great day! A huge thank you to Grandma Billie for all of the day's festivities!
