Ian woke up at 5:20am on Tuesday morning. I guess he was ready to play!! Fortunately, he went back down for a nap around 7:30. While we napped, Aunt Lizzie, Uncle Russell and the kids went to Target and everyone else got up and got ready for the day. When Ian woke up around 9:30am, he was happy to see his Aunt Carol!

Oodles of Pictures!
I had so many pictures from Tuesday to choose from! I have already pared it down quite a bit, but couldn't resist adding many of them to my online scrapbook!
He also enjoyed catching up with his cousins. Allie shared her new pink sunglasses with him! (I have to say, Allie is one smart cookie. If you look carefully, you can see that she is discreetly holding the sunglasses so that Ian won't pull them off. She and Aiden both are very good with Ian. We miss them so much already!)
Because they love us so much, Auntie Liz & Uncle Russell & the kids got us an "annoying toy" at Target too. Cookie Monster makes lots of fun sounds! (And thanks to Uncle Mike for starting the "annoying toy" tradition with Allie and Aiden's Cookie Monster.)
In Angelina's playroom. Say cheese!
Haha...this cracked me up! Ian would run off and Allie and Angelina would follow along behind him.
Whee! Having so much fun!
This was the sweetest thing ever! Angelina was asking Ian if he wanted a toy. She is such a good big cousin!
Time to go shopping!
Poor Cousin Sarah! She "died" due to a bomb explosion! (The little cousins found a light up squishy thing and it became their bomb and provided good reasons to run screaming!)
Hurry Ian! Get into the house for safety!
Allie took a turn going shopping!
Ian eating refried beans and milk for lunch.
Upstairs, the adults were getting our lunch ready. I love these large family lunches and dinners. We didn't have them growing up, so we cherish every one of them!
Playing horsie with Uncle Russell. Allie was so sweet and made sure Ian didn't fall off.
Whee!! More fun rides from Uncle Russell! We're so glad he got to come after all!
Angelina at the splash park. This cutie is so sweet, fun, and creative! We had so much fun getting to visit with her and see how much she has grown!
Mommy and Ian! (Aunt Carol is in the background, along with the billowing clouds that later blew really strong breezes our way.)
Ian's little wet footprints. I didn't mean to get my foot in there too, but it makes for a good size comparison.
Super fun slide!
Aunt Carol was so nice and offered to walk with Ian so I could go see the other kids. That was Ian's favorite thing to do at the park - walk!
Beautiful, beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains from the park. The picture really doesn't do it justice.
Fun play equipment! I was actually born in this town and have many fond memories of parks with rope climbing equipment as seen in the middle here.
These parks also have amazing cool swings that work for big or little kids. I think I like them more than Ian!
Seriously, this park has everything! Sand and water play stations...
Digging equipment...
And awesome rock hills to climb!
Whee! Allie loved the swings as much as Aunt Laura!
Woo-hoo! Angelina loved them too!
Lucky little girls with Daddies to push them high!
Awww...my sweet little boy! He turned and went backwards to go down a one inch curb. I love how seriously he takes his new skills!
Precious girls on top of the world!
Connected to that cool slide a few pictures up is this sleeping giant. Can you see him? He is on his side and is eye is the bump in the middle on the right. His nose is the big hole and his lips are open to the left of his nose. To the left of his lips is his chin.
Rock climbing!
Allie and Angelina hada great time sitting up on the rock.
Sway much fun!
My little sweetie doing what else...walking!
Wow! It sure got windy for a little bit! You can see the tree leaves and the water blowing like crazy!
Allie and Ian loving the water.
Hehe...this kind of cracked me up. The bathrooms had a cool mural all over the doors and the mural itself was called "Nature's Calling".
Hmmm....looks like Uncle Russell thinks he is about to get splashed!
Aunt Carol had the right idea!
Grandpa Grape was so nice and played keeper of the towels while the kiddos played.
Ready, set, get wet!
Diva!!
Running around the little sprinklers.
Haha - these two ran through the sprinklers!
Ian found a little hill and had so much fun climbing it.
Up and down...up and down...so much fun!
Uncle David and Aunt Elizabeth hanging out.
Whee! Fun on the see-saw.
Angelina was so sweet and helped Ian enjoy the ride.
There was also this crazy round, upside down mushroom thing that went faster when you tried to get off!
Uncle Kenny gave it a whirl and found it kept speeding up! I haven't heard him laugh that much in a while!
Uncle Dave and Aunt Elizabeth had the right idea - sitting in the shade!
After the splash park, we headed back to Dave and Elizabeth's for dinner. Ian was so tired that he conked out almost right away on Angelina's bed.
He was one tuckered baby! He stayed in almost the same spot for over two hours!
Right before we left, we headed out back to take the group photos (seen in the previous post). I was amazed that they had wild strawberries growing out back!
Since Ian had slept through dinner, we stopped by Good Times on our way home. We were a bit surprised to see the Pawbender treat listed as an actual frozen dog treat. Of course we had to ask about it! It was indeed a real doggie treat made of ice cream, three milk bones, and peanut butter! Those Coloradoans know how to spoil their pooches!
