We actually didn't have too much planned yesterday, which was nice. I took advantage of that (and the fact that James was off) to go get a much needed haircut. It's been almost a year since I have had a haircut and I
really needed one. Jannette, the lady who cuts my hair, is awesome, but not even her good skill could keep my hair totally even for a year. I ended up getting it a little shorter than I had initially pictured, but it'll last me for another year this way!
Almost the same pic, but a slightly beter angle. My hair doesn't look as frizzy this way. :-) (This humidity is killing any hope of smooth hair!)

But, much more interesting than my haircut, is the news that our little man cut his seventh tooth yesterday! He has been teething all week - chomping on everything and anything and drooling and dealing with a runny nose. Poor little guy! This tooth is one space over from the current farthest top right tooth he has (meaning there is a gap between the current tooth and the new one). When I got home from my haircut, Ian was in a silly mood and having fun with Daddy.
It wasn't long before he was in some serious need of Mommy cuddle time though. So we laid down for a family nap together. This picture doesn't really do it justice (not a good angle, but James didn't want to wake us up), but Ian was totally turned in towards me to cuddle. He usually sleeps in the crook of my arm when we nap together, but not this close in to me. Poor kiddo - cutting teeth is hard work!

Ta-daaaa!! The fruit of all that labor! You can see his top right tooth peeking through the gum line. And yup, on his left is tooth number 8 just about to pop through.

Number 8 actually came through today. It amazes me that his teeth come in symmetrically in pairs! Totally incredible. But, that's our little buddy...totally incredible!
look at all those teeth!!
