I was looking back through my pictures from the last couple of weeks and found a lot of random ones that I wanted to share. We've spent a lot of time inside lately because of the rainy and cold weather. (Although, we'll gladly take this weather over two feet of snow any day!)
Ian has a new favorite way to sit. He puts one foot in front and one foot behind. He will push himself up and almost get into a crawling position. That front foot keeps getting in the way though!
He sure has fun trying though!

I walked in after work a couple of nights ago to check on Ian and saw him sleeping like this. It's rare he has the blanket pulled so tightly around him. Such a cutie!

Mama's sleeping angel up close!

Doesn't he look so handsome? Almost like a little bitty high schooler. Gramma K gave Ian this fun Snoopy outfit for Christmas.

We got a new Froggie humidifier to see if it would help all of us with the ick we've had lately. I have tried several humidifiers before and not really liked any of them, but I absolutely LOVE this one! It works great and the cool mist comes out of the top of the Froggie's eyes. Fun, huh?

Daddy came up with a great sleep solution for our poor congested little baby. He put Ian's changing pad in his crib and then jammed a large stuffed elephant next to it so Ian couldn't roll off. James also folded up a couple of blankets to put under Ian's head to keep him slightly elevated. What a lucky baby! He even gets paci's on the pillow instead of mints!

Zoomed out view.

James actually set this up Friday night when he stayed up all night (to get on schedule for his Saturday night shift). He told me about it, but I was too groggy to really understand what he was saying. So I walked in the next morning to see Ian in his new sleeping arrangment. He took a good nap like that too!

He's still crawling backwards. Hasn't quite got the hang of going forward yet.

Move please, Mom! I'm trying to watch Veggie Tales here!

In the spirit of "Not Me Mondays" (check out
MckMama's blog): I definitely did NOT let my child play with a grocery store ad. Nope. Not me. Doesn't matter that my kiddo LOVES the sound of rustling papers and enjoys tearing them apart...or that it would keep him entertained while I finished dishes. Definitely not something I would do!

My little shredder on the go!

We did get out to run errands a couple of times. I couldn't resist putting on Ian's jacket with the little ears just one more time before he outgrows it!

We love you, baby bear! Spending time with you around the house is pure joy!
