Are you sensing a theme here? You just can't have a big snow without a lot of snow pictures!
Our awesome upstairs neighbor trekked out into the deep white wilderness yesterday to get some great pictures before it all melted. It seems we only got 9 of the record breaking 12.5 inches.
The apartment's playground winter wonderland!
And, of course, the beautiful gazebo laden with snow.
Lone Star Percussion apparently had some fun with the snow too! They made James and Ian a drumming buddy!

James' Aunt Liz took this gorgeous photo out by their place in East Texas.

We ventured out yesterday afternoon and took a few pictures of our own. Here's Ian following in Daddy's footsteps.

Poor little guy was pretty snowed in though!

But that was okay with him. He had a blast brushing snow off the hedges.

We slipped and slid our way out to the main drive. Daddy couldn't resist getting a little mischevious (although if Mommy is honest, she will admit she started it).

It was a great throw! Haha - but bad aim...he missed! He said that was on purpose so he wouldn't mess up the camera.

Today was even warmer, so we took Ian outside to make a snowman. Aunt Julie gave us this great snowman kit and we made a little buddy for Ian.

Ian checking out his new friend.

Brrr...he's kind of cold!

But Ian still loved him. Thanks for our new friend, Aunt Julie!

Getting in a little celebration mode!

Happy Valentine's to all, and to all a good night!
