Fun Stuff

Ian loves, loves, LOVES his stroller rides! And because Nana loves Ian, she bought him this great new umbrella stroller. Well, okay - it's really for me and Nana. We go on a lot of outings together and this stroller has all the bells and whistles of his larger one that Grammy Jen and Grandaddy were so sweet to get him, but it is a little smaller. That means it fits in boutique stores and in and around town a little easier than the big one. (In case you are wondering, we would NEVER *cough, cough* take Ian on outings to boutique stores...no, not us!)

Getting the stroller set up.

Making sure the basket is in place.

Oooo - plastic! Got to shake it and hear it rustle!

Making sure the wheels are nice and tight - what a good little mechanic!

The finished product! I love Target! So many great finds there.

Showing off his new wheels.

Checking out the sun shade. Gotta make sure it's hooked in right.

The other day Ian was wearing a striped shirt that I thought made him look like a little jail bird. Here are some pix of my little escape-artist-to-be.

His little mohawk is just perfect for prison life!

What are you doing out there, Mom? So much more fun in here!

I love his expression in this one. "Who, me???"

One of my friends from TAMS surprised us with this great taggie blanket from Etsy!

Laura and Ian (doesn't she have a great name?! ;-) ). Ian would have preferred to be playing with his gift instead of taking the picture - that's why you see that expression. He loves his blankie - thank you, Laura!
My mohawk men. :-) I guess Ian comes by it naturally.

We love Girl Scout cookie time! And what we love even more is Girl Scout cookie ice cream. Ian particularly enjoyed the Thin Mint kind (takes after Mommy!).

  1. Thank you for your sweet comment you left earlier on the blog! I have been so blessed today by all the sweet, sweet comments.

that new stroller is awesome! I totally need one of those, because Noah's big stroller is so hard to get in and out of the car. So it's from Target?
Ian is so cute in all the pics! I can't wait to finally meet you all!

And... where did you get your girl scout cookies?! I totally have been craving some! I know wayyy unhealthy, but who cares! I am addicted to girl scout cookies.

  3. Libby - we saw kiddos selling Girl Scout cookies outside Walgreens one day, but had no cash. So we got the ice cream at Kroger instead. I think Wal-Mart is carrying it now too. Hoping to find some Girl Scouts soon! The stroller is from Target and wasn't that expensive either. We love it! So hard to get the bigger strollers in and out of trunks and through stores.
Lissie - yum, yum! I should have ordered some from Milla and had them shipped! Haha - I'm sure Mike will be happy to eat whatever makes it back.
