Fair Weather Fun

Spring has been awfully windy this year, but we go outside and go walking as the wind cooperates. There's a park nearby that we like to walk to. It's been fun watching the trees bloom and see how the park transforms - I had almost forgotten what it looked like last summer with all the leaves on the trees!

Unfortunately, I am not very well educated when it comes to flowers and their names. But, I think this is an iris - in any case, it was in full bloom at the park and we stopped to admire it.

Of course, I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of my lil walking buddy! He is so funny - any time I set him down on grass, he crosses his little legs and just sits there. He could crawl off, but he doesn't! These pictures were taken Easter weekend during one of our walks...he looks so little amongst the trees!

He loved being outside so much - he was clapping!

I don't think he liked the way it felt on his legs. He raised his left leg and just kept it up for the longest time.

And holding! Haha - he looks like he is about to take someone on in a fist fight!

Man, how long until Mom gets me off this stuff?

But what a sweet, sweet good-natured baby I have! He wanted to clap for me again, despite the bright sun and itchy grass.

Thanks for all of our good times, walking buddy! Momma wouldn't get out half as often without you. And thank you for humoring me when I try to take so many pictures of you and expose you to new things. Your sweetness melts my heart! I love you!
