Monkey Jammas

When I told Ian tonight that it was time to get his pajamas on, he grabbed his Monkey and said, "Monkey jammas!". So Monkey got to wear matching pajamas. :-)

Ian layed Monkey down, layed himself down, and put his hand on Monkey's chest and Monkey's hand on his chest. It was so sweet! I was able to snap a quick picture on my phone so I could text it to Daddy. But then Ian didn't want to stay in the same position long enough so I could get a good picture with our camera. I tried to bribe him with a gummy bear, but all he did was share it with Monkey.

And then decided to help him eat it.

Then we moved to our bed and Ian sang ABC's to Monkey and Skip.

Then he criss-crossed all their arms! This is very close to the original picture I was trying to get. Ian likes to lay with us this way sometimes too. It's so sweet!

Of course, he wanted to "see"!

Ian likes to have a pillow on him for weight sometimes and tonight was no different. He made sure Monkey and Skip were covered too.

Ian wanted a drink of water before bed and then wanted to share with Monkey. He was doing really well just pretending until I turned around to grab the camera off the dresser. Poor Monkey got a little wet with that drink of water! Monkey didn't seem to mind too much though. Quick change of jammies and he was okay.
