It is definitely a popular event! There were TONS of people there this afternoon. The kiddo areas looked like Toys R Us at Christmas with cowboy boots.
Parking was a little hard to find. We finally managed to get a spot between - of course - two trucks!
At the petting zoo. Nana and Ian are standing in front of the pony ride.
Hanging with Momma...watching the crowds go by.
This little baby goat is only six days old.
And this one, in the back on the floor in the middle of those people where you can hardly see it, is only one day old!
Two buckaroos watching a young goat get lunch.
Haha - he wasn't so sure about all these hats Mommy kept having him try on.
Oh where has my little cowboy gone? Long time passing...
We came across the funniest thing. Notice the guys on the top left. They had a fishing pole on which they had attached a dollar bill and a set of keys. They would throw it out and then pull it back when someone tried to pick it up. If you look closely, you can see it the "bait" is on the ground in front of the lady coming down the stairs on the left.
Haha - good joke, guys. Real funny.
One of their pals on the other side. The guy with the cowboy hat is holding a fishing pole...you can see the dollar/keys on the ground in the front middle of the picture.
Another great place for kiddos - lots of animals to see!
This way!
In front of the chickens!
Momma ewe.
Little chickies!
Wearing a coat to keep his show coat nice and beautiful!
Happy Rodeo-ing!
I love going to the Stock Show. Watching all those kids show their animals. What a fun day for y'all. Great pictures.

ReplyDeleteKaren - thanks! It was fun. I'm really glad we went!
ReplyDeleteLibby - def let me know if ya'll go. I can pass along all the info we learned about where the best kiddo places are. Some nice lady filled us in. The map wasn't as helpful.
