Fun Moments

Raising such an active little boy can certainly have its challenges, but we have so many fun moments too. The last couple of days we have spent some extra time just hanging out and having fun. Ian LOVES the dishwasher and is actually a pretty good help. He will take all the silverware out of the basket and drop it on the lid. If Mommy can grab it from there and put it away before he puts it on the floor, we can get the dishwasher emptied quickly!

Otherwise, it all ends up on the floor and Mommy rewashes it. Small price to pay for the fun he has with it though (and the extra 15 minutes it buys me while I am finishing up the other dishes)!

Yesterday Ian and I had a good laugh. Daddy was watching Ian for a bit while Mommy ran to the doctor's office first thing for routine blood work. I wasn't going to be gone long, so I left Ian in the Pack N Play with Veggie Tales on while Daddy slept a bit more (he wasn't feeling well). When I got back, I was greeted by this little sight.

Yup. My little munchkin was standing bare-bunned in the Pack N Play, just as proud as he could be. Daddy had changed a poopy diaper and put him back in without putting his pants back on. So, little Houdini figured out how to get his (clean) diaper off. Of course, when I saw this, I busted out laughing. How could you not?! Ian joined me and we had a very good laugh together before putting his diaper back on.

We love you, little man! You are pure joy!
