I seriously was insane to even try and go out yesterday, but I had a $10 off $10 purchase coupon for Hallmark and a $10 off $25 purchase at Macy's coupon (and we had just gotten Macy's gift cards thanks to Gramma K!). Hallmark went just fine, but I spent a looooong time at Macy's trying on clothes. Nothing fit. Ugg. I don't know that store extremely well, so I was having a hard time finding "my" section. I finally found something for Daddy though, which I was pretty excited about. Unfortunately, I gave them the wrong coupon (this one was for apparel only) and they wouldn't take it for what I bought Daddy (so no, honey, it's not a tie!). I forgot to give them my original coupon for $10 off $25 and didn't realize it until I got out of the store. Sigh. I'm debating about whether or not to go back. I still have to go to Wal-Mart later tonight and I am already pretty shopped out.On a brighter note, I did get to see our former upstairs neighbor! He's a great guy and we miss getting to see him regularly. We're trying to talk him into moving down the street! :-) Here's a pic of Naybah C from this summer when he brought us all lemonade while our AC was getting fixed!
Well, Naybah C, you saved the horrible shopping trip. I would have been very disgruntled if I hadn't of gotten to do something fun like see you. Two more days til Christmas!!
