Cheerio Monster

I blame Ian's love of Cheerios on my sister. She snuck him his first Cheerios while I was napping during our visit back in November. I'm quite glad she did - he's been hooked ever since! For the last couple of months, Ian has been more than happy to eat as many dry Cheerios as we will feed him. Whenever we leave would put Cheerios on his highchair, he would just pick them up and drop them off the side onto the floor. In the last couple of weeks, he has showed an interest in trying to get them to his mouth, but with no success. Finally today, he managed to get his very first Cheerio in his mouth on his own! He was pretty happy with himself!

Grabbing Cheerios.

Yay! Got one in!

Messy face - he was also having squash for lunch. If you look carefully, you can see a Cheerio tucked between his fingers on his left hand.

Same thing, but with both hand this time. Pretty funny!

I also wanted to add a few pictures I have of the other day when I walked in to see Ian playing with the Boppy.

He started out sitting up and playing with his toys.

I turned around a few minutes later to see this.

He was having a great time moving it all over the place!

If you look really carefully, you can see his little fingers going for the tag on the top right. Haha - he loves tags and will do anything he can to get to one!

After a while, he decided to move on to something else and put the Boppy aside.

Our little man is such a wonderful source of amusement for us! (Haha - probably doesn't say much for us by how easily we get amused!)

  3. Libby - that must have been super scary! I was worried Ian would choke too, hence my sister being the first to feed them to him (she already has two kiddos and is an old pro at things like this.)
