My fifth grade best friend, Lani, sent Ian a cute little onesie that says "Mommy's Silly Monkey". I love it - describes my little guy perfectly! He's fun-lovin', silly, squirmy, loves bananas, and holds stuff between his hands and feet for a better grip!
Here he is modeling his new outfit.

Daddy got up after sleeping several hours after his Saturday night shift and Ian was sooo happy to see him and play with him!

Then Ian decided he wanted some snuggles too. So sweet!

Later that night in the bathtub, Ian picked up the letter "N" and said "nnnn". We thought it was absolutely adorable, even though there is no way he knew what he was doing. Hey - any chance to make our kid look smart!

I came home from work the other night to see this little cuddle bug. I haven't ever seen Ian get the covers that closely tucked around himself.

I have been meaning to get a picture for a while now of how well Ian is moving about. When he is sitting up, he has figured out how to put one leg behind him so he can reach farther for his toys. Sitting like this, he can also propel himself in circles on the floor or in the tub. Granted, they're not very fast circles, but they are circles nonetheless.

And in this last week or so, he has started to go from that sitting position to the crawling position! Yay! Maybe this means he will crawl forwards after all!

Here's our little munchkin getting his letter blocks out of his alphabet train car. He loves to get his "passengers" out and bang them together!

Feeling the train car wheel with his foot. He loves to touch things with his feet!

His balance is getting so much better! After a while, he decided he had enough of rolling the wheel with is foot and started putting his foot up in the air. What a silly monkey!
We love watching him develop new stages of learning and exploration. He has finally realized that his train car moves back and forth and was having fun moving it, making noises all the while. Of course, when I got out the camera, he got quiet!
Good night! Sweet dreams! Here's a good night photo from Ian. See how comfy he is? All those blankets kicked every which way! He even managed to turn on his aquarium in his sleep (James said he hadn't woken up). Such soft soothing lullabies to relax by.
