To Picture or Not to Picture

You may have noticed the lack of blogs this last year. We have been super busy AND hubby and I are sharing a computer because his died. Put the two together, and my poor blog is often at the bottom of the to-do list. A big part of that is the time it takes to sort, edit, and add pictures. I love pictures on blogs! Absolutely adore them in fact.

It really hadn't occurred to me to NOT put pictures on my blog until my sister-in-law, Lissie, started her blog on her journey with IVF. She often posted from work and wasn't able to add pictures. And you know what? I didn't miss them. I loved them when they were there, but I loved even more just knowing what was going on in their world. So I have decided to be a copy-cat and follow the format of her blog - just update when I can whether or not I have pictures ready to go.

With that being said, here's the randomness floating around in my head today:

* I am so glad I went to bed at 10:30 right after we put Ian down last night. He woke up at 7:30 this morning and that would have been rough if I hadn't gotten a good night's sleep. As it is, my Keurig is still helping me wake up this morning. :-)

* James and I had a wonderful vacation to Hot Springs last week while Ian stayed with Grandaddy, Grammy Jen, and Aunt Erin. We desperately needed the break and Ian had a blast! It was hard coming back and not having a three course meal to wake up to and someone to make my bed!

* My child is most likely allergic to salicylates. Much more on that to come, I promise. So much relief at finding that out, but lots of trepidation at what that is going to mean for meal planning.

* Bills. I need to pay bills. *Sigh* I have a few I need to call about and make sure are correct. Why is it always so much work?

* I will never get tired of hearing "chuggy choo choooo" coming from my happy little boy playing at his new train table. :-)
