Easter Dinner at Nana's

We headed over to Nana's house for Easter dinner. She was really sweet and cooked for us since I had to go to work right afterwards.

Ian hunted for Easter eggs in Nana's backyard. Here they are all ready for him! (We filled them with goldfish, graham cracker goldfish, teddy grahams, and few miniture chocolate eggs.)

And those silly little bunny ears found their way to the top of Ian's head again...imagine that!

Looking a little confuzzled...Momma, what ARE these things?

Oh boy! Lots of fun things to play with!

Watching the pinwheel blow in the wind.

Whoopsie...there it goes! Let's see if it flies!

The best Easter bunny ever!

Mommy and Daddy helping Ian "hunt" for his eggs.

Video clip of Ian's first Easter egg hunt!

Nana with her beautiful Easter roses (we figured she was a bit past the Easter basket stage).

Yum, yum! (We were shocked he kept the bunny ears on this long!)

Here ya go!

Discovering the laws of gravity! (Daddy was close by to make sure those laws didn't discover Ian.)

Sweet little chickadee.

Haha - love this expression!

He loved watching the eggs drop.

In fact, he and Nana turned it into a little game.

If you look carefully, you can see the orange egg is rolling out of his little hand.

Here's a little video clip of their game.

Back inside, we had ham, lima beans (Daddy and Ian's favorite!), and mashed potatos for dinner. Then Ian got to have Nana's yummy banana cream pudding for the first time. He thought it was lip-smacking good!

Ian and Nana - couldn't get a picture where Ian was actually holding still!

There was a little dove nesting in one of Nana's front flower pots. She had flown away by the time we left and we got to see her eggs.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

  1. i love all the pictures! he looks so cute in his bunny ears. Im so sad Noah didn't get to hunt for eggs this year. :( by the time planned to get some eggs for him to hunt they were all gone in like 3 different stores we tried. Bummer! I guess we will just have to do it next year.

  2. Oh no! That's too bad. I bought Ian's eggs back in March when I got his St. Patty's stuff at Party City. I didn't even think of the stores selling out. I'm sure Noah will have a blast next year - he won't even remember missing out on it this year.
